Great Ride 2025
Thanks, Lynn — another well-organised and thoroughly enjoyable day.
At the finish, I overheard a few riders on racing bikes grumbling about the new section near Druridge Bay, but I personally really liked it. Since I ride a gravel bike, the short stretches of sand and gravel in between the long sections of tarmac didn’t bother me at all. For me, the enhanced scenery along the route more than made up for any minor challenges.

Good Afternoon
Firstly, thanks ever so much for organising another brilliant event for all of us. It was particularly special for me this year as I managed to convince my dad who's 71 and never cycled to take part and I know he loved it and was particularly emotional when he reached the finish line

Thanks for organising such a fantastic event, we really enjoyed the ride. I also managed to raise over £300 for the Chris Lucas Trust, so it’s lovely to be able to support such a great cause as well!
